Day 1, Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Our company driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and will brief you shortly about your 21 days Uganda Safari. Meet and greet and later transfer to Kampala for dinner and overnight stay at Ministers Village Hotel/Cassia Lodge/Imperial Royale Hotel

Day 2, Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will depart by road to Murchison Falls National Park via Luwero and Masindi. You will have your lunch en route in Masindi town and later proceed to the Park. You will enter through the Kichumbanyobo gate and upon arrival, you will visit the famous top of the falls and experience the beauty of Uganda as you watch water passing through a 7 meter gorge down. After this, transfer to your assigned place of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge /Sambiya River lodge / Red Chill Camp

Day 3, Game Drive and Launch cruise on the Albert Nile
After early breakfast, you will set out for the morning game drive on the Northern bank of the river. Expect to see wildlife animals such as Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, Oribis, bushbucks, Bohor reedbucks, hyenas, and if you are lucky, leopards. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, enjoy a 3 hour boat cruise upstream to the bottom of the Albert Nile.  Look out for animals like hippos, crocodiles and a lot of bird species like goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican, bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork. Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge /Sambiya River lodge / Red Chill Camp

Day 4, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After a morning breakfast, you will set out for your long drive to Kibale forest National Park. The journey will offer you with different views of a true Ugandan Culture especially in Hoima. En route you will pass by banana plantations and African homesteads. Have lunch in Hoima town and later continue with your journey to Fort Portal. Upon arrival in Fort portal, you will enjoy your evening as you view the stunning Rwenzori Mountains commonly referred to as “mountains of the moon”.  Later transfer to Kibale Forest National Park for dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp/Primates Lodge/Chimpanzee guest house

Day 5, Chimpanzee trek and afternoon Bigodi swamp walk
After breakfast at your lodge, you will go for the morning briefing from the park officials and later you will depart from the Park headquarters in Kanyanchu and go for Chimp tracking with in the forest. Expect to see a lot of primate species including the Chimps, blue monkeys, Varvet Monkeys, red tailored monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will go for the Bigodi swamp walk. This is a good site for different bird species and hence a bird watchers paradise. Return to the Lodge for refreshments with dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Forest Camp/Primates Lodge/Chimpanzee guest house

Day 6, Visit the crater region
After breakfast, you will transfer to the crater region for a half day exploration. Upon reaching there, you will enjoy the view of the numerous small lakes which are surrounded by gentle hills. Also you can hike up to Lake Nkuruba to view different bird species. Have lunch and later visit the Mahoma falls where you will meet local people en route and this will give you a clear view of a true typical African Culture. Dinner and overnight stay in Fort portal at Fort Motel/Mountains of the Moon Hotel

Day 7, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start your day with a heavy cup of tea and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This journey will give you good views of the great Mountains of the moon and the Kasese town. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for lunch after which you will go for the evening game drive to search for resident animals of the Park such as waterbucks, warthogs, elephants, buffalos, antelopes and others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge/Simba Safari Camp

Day 8, Game drive and Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel
Early morning before breakfast, you will set out for the game drive to catch up with the early risers. Look out for lions, buffaloes, Leopards, Hyenas, bush and water bucks and the Elephants. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, you will go for the afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Look out for animals like hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of bird. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge/Simba Safari Camp

Day 9, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park with a game drive en route in the famous Ishasha sector. This is famously known for its rare tree climbing lions and can be witnessed in fig tree. Arrive at Bwindi in the afternoon where you will relax, as you wait for your next day’s Gorilla tracking activity which is the highlight of your safari. Dinner and overnight stay at Wagtail Eco safari camp/Buhoma Community Bandas/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort.

Day 10, Gorilla Trekking activity:
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park ranger guides before you set off for your Gorilla trek. You will be given rules to follow while in the forest before seeing the Gorillas and also when you are with the Gorillas. The rules are there so as to continue protecting these rare species and not to let them disappear. Under normal circumstances, the Gorilla trek has no fixed time of ending since it depends on where the Gorillas spend the night the day before the trekking day. However, it ranges from 2-9 hours and this basically depends on the movement of these primates. You need to be strong and physically fit since it involves walking along steep hilly tracks and also long distances. However, once one comes across the Gorillas, all the poor memories he has gone through, are easily forgotten and instead enjoy the one hour time with the Gorillas. You can take as many photographs as you want. After this, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Wagtail Eco safari camp/Buhoma Community Bandas/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort.

Day 11, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale the place commonly known as the “Switzerland of Africa”. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Africa and upon reaching there you will go for the local community tour. Dinner and overnight stay at Bird nest/Bunyonyi overland resort/ Arcadia cottages/Bushara Island

Day 12, Spend the whole day at Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will go for a cultural walk on Lake Bunyonyi. Among the many villages in the area, you will Visit the Batwa village where the people known as the Pygmies are found. You will also enjoy the boat ride on the lake which will give you scenic views of the different surrounding Islands and terraced hills.  Dinner and overnight stay at Bird nest/Bunyonyi overland resort/ Arcadia cottages/Bushara Island

Day 13, Transfer to Rwanda
After breakfast, you will move to the Uganda-Rwanda border for immigration procedures after which you will enter Rwanda the country commonly known as the ‘Land of a Thousand hills’. Upon reaching Rwanda, you will transfer to Kinigi/Ruhengeri where you will have a short adventure with in the village towns. Relax at your lodge as you prepare for your next day’s Gorilla trek. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House

Day 14, Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing from the ORTPN officials. After the briefing, you will be allocated Gorilla groups where you will also be accompanied by ranger guides. You will trek through the forest as you search for the rare endangered Mountain Gorilla species. It will not be an easy task since you will encounter swamps, hills, valleys and so on but once you reach the exact place where the Gorillas are, you will forget all the hardships that you have gone through the past few hours and you will enjoy the one hour you will have with them. Such moment will be your best and the greatest among all. After the interaction, you will return to your lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House

Day 15, Visit Dian Fossey and transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Karisoke research center where Dian Fossey was buried along with her friendly gorilla called Digit. This was the base for the young American Primatologist where she carried out her research about the Mountain Gorillas in Africa. She died while trying to protect them from the poachers. After this, you will drive to Lake Kivu in western Rwanda. Have lunch and in the afternoon, take a launch cruise or boat ride on the lake. This cruise will offer you with stunning views of both Kibuye and Gisenyi town, the Nyiragongo volcano which is the only active Volcano in Africa and so many fishing villages on the shores of Lake Kivu. Day 16, Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After a fully served breakfast, you will be transferred to Nyungwe forest National Park. En route to the park you will have lunch in Kibuye town before proceeding to the Park. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura guest house/ Nyungwe Forest Lodge/Nyungwe Hill top view Hotel

Day 17, Chimpanzee Tracking with in Nyungwe Forest
Early morning at 5:00am, you will leave your lodge and enter the forest with ranger guides to track the Chimpanzee. This activity can take a short time from like one hour or a long time for like a full day and all depends on where the chimpanzees are because they are unpredictable and move long distances and some times, you may not see them.  Besides the Chimpanzee, there are other primate species which can be seen in the forest like the Rwenzori colobus, L’Hoest’s monkey, Silver monkey, Owl faced monkey and the Grey cheeked Mangabey. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Gisakura guest house/ Nyungwe Forest Lodge/Nyungwe Hill top view Hotel

Day 18, Transfer to Akagera National Park.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Akagera national park en route visit Butare town and also the cultural museum and the botanical gardens there. You will also visit the old King’s palace in Nyanza. Later you will proceed to Kigali for lunch after which you will continue to Akagera National Park for dinner and overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge

Day 19, Boat ride, Game Drive and transfer back to Kigali
Early morning after breakfast, you will go for the morning game drive and look for the animals missed out in the previous game drive. Return back to your lodge for refreshments and later go for the canoe or boat ride along Lake Ihema. Here you will spot a number of hippos and crocodiles plus abundant bird species. Later, proceed back to Kigali city for dinner and overnight stay at Kigali Serena Hotel/Hotel Chezlando/Step Town Motel

Day 20, Kigali City tour and departure
After breakfast, you will have a short city tour around to visit places like the local markets, gift shops, Genocide Memorial sites, museums and malls. Later you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home
