5 Days Uganda Wildlife and Gorilla safari    

The 5 days (4 nights) gorilla experience starts and ends at Entebbe airport or Kampala and it offers the beautiful experience one can never forget to Lake Mburo National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park. The story of the Mountain Gorillas is remembered by every tracker.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1, Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Our company driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and will brief you shortly about your 5 days Uganda Safari. Meet and greet and later transfer to Kampala for dinner and overnight stay at Ministers Village Hotel/Cassia Lodge/Imperial Royale Hotel

Day 2, Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer from Kampala and drive southwestward to Lake Mburo National park. You will have stop over at the equator for photography before continuing with your journey to the Park. This Park is a home to wildlife animals like Zebra, Impala, Uganda Kob, and many more. You will have a game drive en route which will reward you with views of the above animals. In the afternoon, you can have a boat ride on Lake Mburo and this will offer you different views of water loving animals.  Dinner and overnight at Mantana luxury tented camp/Mihingo lodge/Rwonyo camp/Arcadia cottages.

Day 3, Game drive and transfer to Bwindi National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you will have a game drive as you exit the park. This will give you sights of different wildlife animals missed in the previous game drive on day 2. You will leave the Park and transfer to Bwindi National Park and this journey will offer you with different views of the Ankole plain land and ever green vegetation. Dinner and overnight stay at Wagtail Eco safari camp/Buhoma Community Bandas/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort.

Day 4, Gorilla Trekking activity:
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park ranger guides before you set off for your Gorilla trek. You will be given rules to follow while in the forest before seeing the Gorillas and also when you are with the Gorillas. The rules are there so as to continue protecting these rare species and not to let them disappear. Under normal circumstances, the Gorilla trek has no fixed time of ending since it depends on where the Gorillas spend the night the day before the trekking day. However, it ranges from 2-9 hours and this basically depends on the movement of these primates. You need to be strong and physically fit since it involves walking along steep hilly tracks and also long distances. However, once one comes across the Gorillas, all the poor memories he has gone through, are easily forgotten and instead enjoy the one hour time with the Gorillas. You can take as many photographs as you want. After this, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Wagtail Eco safari camp/Buhoma Community Bandas/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort.

Day 5, Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala via Kabale a region commonly known as the “Switzerland of Africa”. Have lunch in Mbarara town and continue with your journey to Kampala. Drop off will be at your Hotel in Kampala or will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination
